The Employment Law team at Kippen Campbell LLP is headed up by Steve McLaren, Partner. Steve was enrolled as a solicitor in 1983 and was assumed as a Partner with Kippen Campbell LLP in 1987. The second member of the Employment Law team is Sally McCartney, Partner who has around 20 years of experience in Advocacy, Litigation and Employment Law. Sally was enrolled as a solicitor in Scotland in September 1997 and was assumed as a Partner with Kippen Campbell LLP in May 2009.
Steve and Sally frequently appear in Employment Tribunals throughout the length of Scotland and also from time to time in England representing both employers and employees. As well as Employment Tribunals they also have experience of representing clients in Sheriff Courts and the Employment Appeal Tribunal in Edinburgh. Both Sally and Steve regularly advise businesses on redundancies, reorganisations, TUPE, Settlement Agreements, drafting and revising Contracts of Employment/Service Agreements and employment strategies.
Steve and Sally appreciate that dealing with contentious employment law issues in the workplace and litigating either through the Court or the Tribunal can be a confusing and stressful time for clients, whether they are individuals or Directors in large companies. Their aim is to provide all their clients with relevant advice in a clear, concise manner and obtain the best outcome for their particular circumstance.
Both Steve and Sally are Directors of Kippen Campbell’s separate specialist employment law consultancy company, Employment Law Perth Ltd.
