Robert graduated from the University of Dundee with First Class Honours in Law and History in 2002, and received the Diploma in Legal Practice in 2003. He then spent fifteen years with another local firm, as trainee, assistant and associate, where he gained experience in most areas of general practice law. Robert joined Kippen Campbell in October 2018 as a senior associate in our conveyancing department, and was assumed as a Partner in May 2021.
Although Robert has wide experience of court, private client and property law, he now focusses solely on conveyancing and property work. A former director of the Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre, which he served for six years, Robert is the Conveyancing Convener of the Society of Procurators and Solicitors in the City and County of Perth. Through this role, Robert represents Perth and Perthshire on the Law Society of Scotland’s Scottish Standard Clauses Working Party. Robert is also currently Vice President of the Society of Procurators and Solicitors in the City and County of Perth, and sits on the Council of the Society of Writers to His Majesty’s Signet.
Robert has served as a Director of the local charity Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) since 2005 and is currently its vice chairman. He is an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Perth and is a Past President of the former Rotary Club of Perth St Johns.
