Robert graduated from the University of Dundee with First Class Honours in Law and History in 2002. He received the Diploma in Legal Practice in 2003. He then spent fifteen years with another local firm, as trainee, assistant and, for the last ten years, as an associate, where he gained experience in most areas of general practice law. Robert joined Kippen Campbell in October 2018 as a senior associate in our conveyancing department. He was assumed as a Partner in May 2021.
Although Robert has wide experience of court, private client and property law, he now focusses solely on conveyancing and property work. A former director of the Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre, which he served for six years, Robert is the Conveyancing Convener of the Society of Solicitors and Procurators in the City and County of Perth. Through this role, Robert represents Perth and Perthshire on the Law Society of Scotland’s Scottish Standard Clauses Working Party.
Robert serves as a Director of the local charity Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) and its trading subsidiaries, including Language Base, a social enterprise offering translation and interpreting services principally to the public and third sectors. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Perth St Johns.
